About these terms
These terms apply to your use of webempirellc.com and to the services provided by Web Empire LLC, Fort Wayne, IN. By requesting a quote or hiring us, you agree to them.
Free demo
We may design a free demo of your homepage before you hire us. The demo is free and creates no obligation. The demo design remains our property unless you sign a contract with us.
Proposal, contract and scope
If you want to go ahead, we send a proposal and a written contract that list the plan, platform, pages, features, price and payment terms. We start the full build after the contract is signed. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before we do it.
Preview and go-live
We build the website on our own private preview link and review it with you there. After your feedback is final, we publish the website to your domain and your platform account.
Prices and payment
Plan prices are shown in US dollars and are one-time fees for design and build. We do not take a deposit. The plan price is due when the website is live on your domain and the work in your contract is complete. Platform subscriptions, domains, hosting, paid apps, premium themes and payment processing fees are not included and are billed to you by those providers.
Your responsibilities
- Provide content and images in time for the agreed schedule, and access to your platform account when the site is ready to go live.
- Make sure you have the right to use any content, logos and images you give us.
- Keep your platform subscription and domain active.
Revisions and approval
Each plan includes the number of revision rounds shown on the Pricing page. Your feedback is considered final when you confirm the site is ready to go live.
Ownership
Once your project is paid in full, the website and the content we create for it belong to you. Until full payment is received, the design and code remain our property and we may remove them from your domain and account as set out in your contract. Platforms, themes, apps and third-party tools remain subject to their own licenses.
Support
Each plan includes a support period after launch for fixing problems with the work we delivered. New features and content changes after launch are quoted separately.
Limits of our responsibility
We are not responsible for outages, price changes or policy changes made by Wix, Shopify, Squarespace, WordPress hosts or other third parties. We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic or sales. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.
Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Allen County, Indiana.
